Utrecht has a PumpTrack richer! We built a 1,500 m2 PumpTrack in the summer of 2022 on the old site of a BMX track that had been closed for safety reasons for the past 3 years.

The initiative for this asphalted pump track came from cyclists, who also contributed to the design and provided co-financing. The site will once again be publicly accessible so that anyone who wishes can use it, in compliance with the applicable rules. Sport Utrecht and the Cycling Platform Utrecht will regularly organize activities on the pump track from the summer onwards.
With this new pump track, Utrecht is making its range of 'urban' facilities more complete, in addition to, for example, the existing Cruyff courts, Krajicek playgrounds, skate tracks and urban dance grounds. The aim is to inspire Utrecht's youth to become more active and active.
It is the result of a collaboration between Recreational Board Stichtse Groenlanden, the province of Utrecht, the municipality of Utrecht, Sport Utrecht, Cycling Platform Utrecht and Bikepark Utrecht.
