B.A.R.C.
is
one
of
the
Vashon
Park
District's
most
unique
properties,
and
it
is
improving
all
the
time
with
the
help
of
a
team
of
volunteer
stewards.
Vashon
Park
District
hopes
to
turn
B.A.R.C.
into
"THE"
alternative
park
for
all.
The
Master
Plan
tells
most
of
the
story
with
plans
for
additional
indoor
and
outdoor
features.
That
said,
the
Burton
Adventure
Recreation
Center
is
impressive
as
it
stands
with
an
indoor
inline
skating
facility,
an
outdoor
skate
bowl,
a
newly
expanded
and
improved
disc
golf
course,
a
community
garden
dubbed
"Eden
Reframed,"
and
a
NEW
CEMENT
PUMP
TRACK
(including
a
paved
perimeter
walking
path,
outdoor
game
tables,
art
pieces,
and
a
climbing
boulder)!
